Bizarre behaving cat?

It's not my cat. It's got into the window twice but I don't hear it coming up to my feet until it starts squealing. It's not homeless it has a home.

But last night I was trying to speak to someone outside and I genuinely couldn't hear him over this cat noise as it ran up. Sorry, I don't know if boy or girl. I don't feed it.

I don't know if it doesn't like me or expects me to open doors or windows for it. It's puzzling me! Completely ignored guy I was talking to and ran up and screamed at me, it was louder than delivery bloke

It (probably) wants you to feed it.

cats want food from most people.

Sounds like a totally normal cat to me.

It's doing what British tourists do to locals when they don't understand English - shout the same words at them and expect it to make a difference.

CalicoPusscat · 20/09/2025 17:41

@Octavia64 it looks well fed? I'm honestly not sure what it wants from me! I can't feed it as I don't know if it's on a special diet and can't encourage cats to come to me.

Thank you for answering anyway:)

I'm not sure what the neighbours address is exactly but may try to speak to her.

Cats do sometimes have a habit of choosing their own owners staff, and it looks to me as though you might be fairly high on this cat's list.😂
