10-month old kitten is vomiting every day

As the title says really. Our 10-month-old kitten appears to be in rude health, yet lately seems have been vomiting more regularly. She had vomited once or twice but last 2-3 weeks it’s been once a week and then both yesterday and today. She is otherwise in good spirits, pooping daily in the litter tray (although sometimes goes more like 36 hours) and we’ve not changed her food. The other day it was after gorging dreamies so I thought it might be the richness of those, but she hasn’t had any dreamies this weekend. She seems happy and is playing.

We’ve booked her in at the vet but they’ve not got anything until Wednesday morning. In the meantime, any ideas as to what it could be? Thank you!

Don’t let her gorge on Dreamies. I saw a vet say they are equivalent of a jam donut-you wouldn’t eat several of those at once, would you?

Does she gobble her food? That can cause vomiting. You can get feeding mats that mean they have to eat slower, that can help. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and the vet can put your mind at rest.

Whats her coat like? Fluffy? One of mine vomits as she gets hair balls (very fluffy coat), got her some anti hairball stuff (and brushed twice a day) and no more issues.

Make sure she's up to date with worming, a heavy worm burden can cause vomiting.

Thanks all. We do brush and are growing some cat grass for her as well, but she is extremely fluffy for a short haired cat.

We spoke to a virtual vet through our pet insurance who recommended refreshing worming as well, even though she’s indoor only, and seemed to think she was fine but to give her very bland foods for a few days and see if it resolves.
