Meet Cheerful Charlie. He moved in 5 weeks ago and now thinks he owns the place! I'm allergic to him which has made things a bit tricky but I think we're getting there.

He's 4 months old @Hungrycaterpillarsmummy. For a kitten he's reasonably well behaved, the curtains are still in tact at least!

He has the sweetest nature. He's happy to play by himself or with us and then snooze on our laps in the evening, going between DH and I so we both get some attention.

He won't be too happy tomorrow, he's off to the vets to have his pom poms off! He's currently asleep behind me, not a care in the world!

Oh my goodness, he is adorable! He looks perfect for cuddles. Is he as chunky as he looks in the outside photo? I think we're going to need lots of photos of him from now on!

Yes, he's a real chonk. I weighed him this morning and he's 2.85kg, up from 1.95 when he went to the vet for a check up at the end of July! He also has the most magnificent tail!

He should give off weaker allergens once he's been castrated (and hormones have left his system) so you may find your allergic reaction improves.

He's lovely, love his cheeky little face.

My allergy lessened over time once I was living with a cat. It’s worth it.

He's home from being neutered and is absolutely hyperactive! I expected him to be sleepy but he's as high as a bloody kite. We no longer have plinth lights on one use of the kitchen as he somehow got to the cable and bit through it!

This was him when we booked him in at the vet.

Oh Charlie! Don’t make a habit of it please! We went through a few years of not being able to put lights on our Christmas Tree because Bob (RIP My Little Black and White Wonder) would continually chew through the cables and once managed to short circuit the house!

What a smasher though - a proper hunk and I can’t get over that face when he’s sleeping! 🐈‍⬛😻
