@Shmee Purdey, as in the guns, or as in Joanna Lumley? I taught a kid whose mother mentioned her older daughter, Purdey, and I asked if she was named after the character. She rather embarrassedly told me her husband had been besotted with Joanna Lumley in the New Avengers, but I was the first person to ever pick it up. Apparently people assumed it was a Chinese name as they were about sixth generation Chinese Australians.

Actually the kitten looks like she'll grow into a Mrs Peel.
