Hi, can anyone recommend a cat tracker? I feel a bit overwhelmed with the choice for our beautiful six month old kitten.

I've tried airtags which didn't work well and when the cat came home without the collar we never found the tag. Also tried Tabcat which were quite good if you don't want to pay a subscription but my boys went too far away that when they lost their collars I had no way of finding them because you need to be within range of the tab to find it's signal.
DD has tried tractive but often couldn't connect to it for some reason so she returned them.

We both now use Pet tracer. They're one of the more expensive options but they work. I've never had to use one to find a missing cat yet but my boys often go a long way and hunt in a very overgrown area so I have had to go looking for missing collars a few times. I've managed to get their collars back every time so far. It's also really interesting to see where they go. I think the extra cost and subscription is worth it. I lost a cat for 2 months (that was what made me start trying different trackers).

I use Tractive, but not the mini cat ones but the dog ones as they have much better battery life
