Just in the hope anyone might have some advice!
he’s not blocked and not struggling to wee but he’s had a recent UTI with E. coli and blood

he hates wet food and basically now he isn’t eating enough wet food or drinking enough water to well, make wee! So he keeps trying to go and then looks surprised he can’t Hmm

he is under the vet and on metacam for a good few weeks

I have tried a water fountain, bone broth and tuna in spring water so far, other ideas welcome!

I foster cats and currently have one in that doesn't drink enough and is just getting over a UTI. I literally drain the can of tuna, the one in spring water, and put the water down for him which he seems to like. I put it down before his regular food so he's a bit hungry and that seems to make him more willing to drink it. He doesn't really like the tuna itself, so I end up eating most of that. 😂You can also boil some chicken in a little water and shred it and give him that if he likes chicken. I also give him his meds in Lick-E-Lix, which can be thinned down a little with the tuna water but obviously that's not a long term solution.

He won’t touch
tuna or the water
beef broth or chicken broth
any of the subscription foods
raw food
any food with added water as I’m obviously poisoning it

he will eat
bits of raw meat like chicken or beef mince
lick (his cystease is hidden in this)
metacam (delicious, he wants this as a food flavour)
gourmet gold - inconsistently

I’ve got a water fountain, a bowl on a table and a glass of water on the floor

honestly he’s driving me bonkers! The vet bills are near 2k now (thank god for insurance)
