Best flea treatment please

My lovely indoor cat has fleas 😭
I've been using a flea comb and treating the rooms (as well as deep cleans) but is there a shampoo to kill all the eggs hiding in my cats fur? He won't let me brush his legs or bum area (but seems to love being brushed on the head, face and neck).
I'm going to use a flea treatment again in a week as he had one a week ago (been advised by vet that it's okay to do it).

What flea treatment are you using on your cat?
I wouldn't shampoo if you are using a spot on treatment
Indorex is supposed to be good for the house

I’d probably stick what your vet recommends- ours prescribes nexguard combo. The ones you can buy without a prescription are crap and fleas are mostly resistant to them. Don’t use a shampoo when they’ve had a spot on treatment. Just indorex in the house and follow your vets advice.

We get Stronghold from the vet - nothing we’ve tried works as well as that

The best one we have from the vets is Advacate. They let me take the prescription so I can buy cheaper online. Never used a flea comb

I recently found fleas on my dog, did the cat and dog with Advocate (it had been a while since their last dose) and then Indorex, washing the bedding and hoovering the house seems to have sorted it out. ChatGPT explained it all very helpfully!
