Catsan & Dreamies

Hi all - just opened a fresh bag of Catsan and there was a little bag of catnip-flavoured Dreamies in the top of it. Found it a bit weird as there was no other indication around it - no promo on the pack or anything for example. I've googled and seen that others have had this too so I guess it's legit (rather than someone malicious - stranger things have happened) - am I being paranoid to throw them away? My girls LOVE Dreamies by the way

Yes, it’s a thing. I think it’s a little treat.

Dreamies are crack cocaine for cats.

My Dm had a huge value bucket of them once for her cat. She placed them in the kitchen on the impossible to reach shelf up almost by the ceiling to store them there.

One morning she woke to find Dcat had somehow sprung up into the shelf, knocked them off and the whole bucket smashed open on the floor. In the living room, dcat was sat there looking very guilty, with cat vom all over the carpet after she’d binged herself all night.

Oh we've had that before, that's why they stay in the drawer now! Not my cat but my mum has been 'adopted' by two that live a few doors down... one of them managed to get in the cupboard, get one of those huge bags of iams biscuits in his mouth and drag it down the driveway and over the fence - I was quite impressed to be fair!

A house we used to live ages ago, there was a local black and white big tom cat called Batman (he had the perfect eye mask shape across his eyes)

He used to sneak into our neighbours cat flap, terrorise the two young dcat kittens she had, and steal their food. One day we saw him emerging from the cat flap with an unopened sachet of felix cat food, the sneaky git!

Dreamies in Catsan is a thing, we’ve had that a few times. Although dreamies seem to act like a poison to one of our cats, so i recommend going easy on the dreamies!

We need the laugh reaction back! These two can be quite often found on my mum's bed acting as if they own the place (she did have her own DCat until quite recently - hence having the food in the cupboard) but sadly she passed away and now these miscreants have taken over!

The last Dreamies we had in the Catsan were catnip flavoured and went down VERY well here. We have to keep all treats in a secure box, as shortly after adopting this boy I found a trail of vomit and a number of clawed apart empty Dreamies bags on the kitchen floor in the morning.
