Hi, everyone long time lurker first time poster I know i need to pay the cat tax 😂 Which i will post below. It appears a neighbour has taken to stealing my cat! Long story short it’s been admitted again tonight after multiple facebook posts looking for him. I want a cat tracker, however he constantly gets a snap collar off. Other than a harness, is there any other way i can get a tracker on him?

The Tractive trackers fit into a rubber cover which can be attached to any collar of your choice or a harness even

We had one of those for both of our cats, attached to a collar and it lasted about 3 weeks. We enjoyed seeing where they had been on the tracker - generally not far and often back to the same spot many times, maybe mouse hunting?

Then our male cat managed to lose it & the collar in the field behind our house and our female cat the same a few days later. Never found them again. I think you can get buy an option to have 1 or 2 replacements but if your cat can remove a collar, there is a high risk the tracker will go too.

Two two have (so far) had the decency to lose their trackers where I have been able to retrieve them after apologizing to neighbors asking to search their gardens.

I did use an elastic collar on my Boy DC for a while, which seemed to work well, perhaps an option? They will slip off if needed, but maybe more sturdy?
