Should I look for a different place to live?

My cat is an adorable 9 year old creature but she's a rescue who was badly treated as a kitten and although she's very bonded with me she's incredibly shy, skittish and nervous with other humans. Almost like she's semi wild. Ive had her since she was 8 months old.

Im splitting up with my partner so I need to move her out of our house. I have the opportunity to go back and be a lodger with a wonderful live-in landlady who I have.lived with before and who is lovely. She has a garden and a cat flap but the problem is she also has a dog. The dog gets on well with cats but has a tendency to herd sometimes. Im not worried about the dogs personality, im worried about my cats. Is this going to be a nightmare situation for her? Should I find a different solution? Any thoughts?

Yep but honestly I'm pretty sure this missed period is stress. I seem to be going through an absolute shit show of a life chapter!

How is the cat with your ex partner? I know this would be heart breaking for you but if it’s an option your cat may be best left in her territory

I know what you're saying, but she's still skittish with him despite him having practically raised her alongside me! She needs to stay with me.
I think i know what the answer is - I need to find a different solution!

So don’t subject her to this landlady
