One my girls has been missing since last night. It's VERY out of character for her to be out for longer than a few hours, especially without her sister.

DH has been walking the streets looking for her. We've knocked on the neighbours doors, they haven't seen her. We've printed posters out and will put them up first thing tomorrow. We've also hung her blanket out on the line and put a bowl of her favourite food outside in the hope that she might pick up on the scent if she's nearby.

The kids haven't noticed she's missing yet. They're going to be distraught. Her sister doesn't seem to bothered atm but they are thick as thieves so I would be surprised if she didn't start getting stressed soon.

I can't stop thinking about all the terrible things that have happened to her. I'm usually pretty stoic but currently recovering from a pretty major surgery earlier in the week, so extra weepy due to pain and meds which probably isn't helping!

Please send me all your positive stories about your lovely missing cats who have turned up and been found safe and well!!

Goood news, OP. She doesn’t look at all sorry for worrying you, does she?

She is not sorry at all!

Thank you all so much for being so lovely. All your stories and kind words made me feel so much better last night when I was in a panic spiral.

DH and I are so relieved (and the DC are none the wiser fortunately) but will definitely be researching and ordering pet trackers today...she clearly can't be trusted!!

I've found Pet tracer to be the best and my daughter and I have tried a few. But pricey but I love the piece of mind. It's worth it to me.
