A cat named out of Tolkien is hard to resist! And so appropriate for that gorgeous shade of silver.

My cats made it all the way to 16 and 15, but he looks like he’s got years left in him!

I hope so. He’s got arthritis and is struggling a bit. But he’s happy and content and has a good quality of life.

He’s a Scottish fold. So is white old for his breed. (He was a rescue)

Very handsome and gorgeous soulful eyes. Looking very fine for 14 too!

I absolutely ADORE Mithril. There's just something about his face that makes me want to stare into it for hours while stroking whatever his favorite areas are. And of course I'm a complete sucker for a long nose on a cat.

He’s gone to the cattery today. And I mentioned it was his birthday yesterday. They’ve put a banner up and decorated his pen!

Nothing to say the backstreet tom wasn't descended from Bast! Boycat had a lovely long nose, but somehow I didn't get any pictures of his face in profile over the years. I used to think of Girlcat's nose as being very short - until Tobias came home & reminded me that hers was just short in comparison to her brother.
