Angus Has a New Friend

Angus and Archie had a best friend who lived next door and I often posted photos of the three of them on here. Very sadly Hamish passed away about a year ago and my gingers really missed him and would often go next door to try and find him.

Fast forward to this year and neighbour now has two very sweet, but very nervous, black and white rescue cats. Neighbour and I were both a bit anxious about how all the cats would get on. Today I looked out of my window and saw this sweet scene with Angus and one of my neighbour’s cats. Angus is the sweetest of cats and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body. I think he may have a new friend!

I’ve also attached a photo of the late Hamish with my two gingers in his memory.

Yes it is still early days but they have both touched noses and Angus is definitely up for a bit of rough and tumble which is what he used to do with Hamish. I’m not sure my neighbour’s cat is confident enough for that yet. I’m hoping it will take Angus’s mind off his unrequited love of my Little Cat who he adores and she scorns him at every turn as can be seen by her face in this photo 🤣

Aww your lovely, floofy, ginger scaredy cats. I remember the photo of them by the cat flap.

Loved to picture you posted once of the black and white cat defending the stairs and the 2 enormous gingers cowering!

Thats one of my favourite photos too. Here it is again 🤣 My big brave boys ….. not! 🤣 They were so desperate to go upstairs and were pleading with me to remove Little Cat as she’s a spunky little madam!

Any chance of posting the photo of them peering at the cat flap please?

I’m not sure which one it was so I’m posting a couple. The first one they are sitting waiting for me to open the back door so they don’t have to come through the catflap and the second one is them waiting for me to open the door to go out. They are quite capable of using the catflap! I can’t believe you all remember these photos!

So lovely. My cat is a madam, she chases any other cats away.

@Icequeen01 Sad I know but I've found the one I was looking for it was August 2016 titled My Scaredy Boys. The cat flap is obviously well photographed in your house 😀.

On the catflap photo where they want to go out I had forgotten that Little Cat was on the other side (you can just see her through the mucky catflap 😂) She plays mind games with the gingers the little minx.

Ive just posted the scaredy posts photo for @Breadcat24 who asked to see it again.

This one isn’t mine, but since he first visited and I made a bit of a fuss of him, he pops around quite often now.

My OH will shout through and say “your mate is here”. 🤣

He’s gorgeous @HelpMeGetThroughI can’t resist all the neighbourhood cats either if they come to visit. I’m definitely a mad cat woman.

He’s a lovely cat, very vocal. Don’t know what type he is, but is a big ball of fur.
