Had my beautiful cat PTS

Such a hard day. Cat had stopped eating and after trips to the vets they found cancer in his mouth in a place they couldn't reach. He was put to sleep today. 15 years so lived a good life and its a kindness and was able to hold him while was done but now keep expecting to see his little self come strolling meowing though the door :(

I am sorry. We had a cat with oral carcinoma - our vet said it's ferociously aggressive in felines, and given how stoic cats can be, often very hard to detect till it's advanced. Your beautiful boy was lucky; he had you in his corner, keeping him comfortable and making sure he didn't suffer. RIP sweet one 🌻

Was odd not waking up to this face today but know it'll feel less odd as the weeks go by. Glad we could be there and he didnt end up suffering.
