Does anyone have experience of FHS?

This seems to have started today with Girl Cat. She’s 8 and typically quite anxious and sensitive. I’ll be making a vet appointment next week but looking for any experience before I get there?

I have no experience but a quick google says she should see the vet within 24 hours of symptoms starting, so you may want to get her seen sooner than next week.

My vet is closed until Monday, I’m waiting for a call back from an online vet via my pet insurance

Depending on what the on line vet says, it may be a case of seeing an emergency vet bearing in mind it's the start of the weekend. That's especially likely if her episodes are lasting a couple of minutes or more.

One of the few advantages of my vets now being part of one of the chains is that they have a 24 hour emergency vet practice with a hospital not too far away in that chain, so I could get mine there when mine is closed & they can access my cat's info on line.

Online vet not overly concerned. Said as the episodes last only about ten seconds, she’s not presenting as in pain, not showing any other symptoms and is peaceful while she sleeps that I’ve to keep an eye on her and see my vet on Monday
