Thinking of getting me for Penelope, for when we go to stay with my parents, as it’s a 4 hour drive on the motorway. I can strap her in in her current solid basket. But would prefer something more secure. They are expensive, would you bother?

I wouldn’t myself. If you put the seatbelt through the carrier handle as well as the other part round the front, there is little room for movement as the seatbelt is already pulled taut.

But if it would give you peace of mind and you can afford it, then go for it!

I bought it on eBay for about £100 less than new. We had a family at work who were in a crash on the motorway and their dog who was in the car was badly injured.(he’ll be ok though) So I’m a bit more nervous about travelling with her not secured in a crash tested carrier. She’s a very good traveller anyway.

Well it’s arrived and it’s the first time she’s ever gone in a basket of her own accord!! But concerned it’s a bit snug for her. But she’s happy!
