Cat dental check ups/insurance

Hi, my cat needs a teeth clean due to moderate gum disease. Her last vet visit (for booster ans check up) was Jan 24 then we went in April (still okay, just for the booster). My insurance says teeth need to be check every 12 months, will this be ok? Tried to call today but closed due to holiday. It’s going to be a pretty big bill so just wanted to know! Thanks

Best way to know for sure is to ask your vet do a pre auth. Not all insurance companies do them but yours might. Vets will usually happily claim directly if there is a pre authorisation in place.

You'll need to check first - like PP said, the vet can do a pre-authorisation to make sure it'll be covered. I'd be prepared for a "no" though, sadly.
