Our cat had to have an op on his growth plate 4.5 weeks ago after being hit by a car. He’s had it x-rayed and new cast put on every 2 weeks since the op so last one was done on Wednesday. He’s managed to get his foot out at some point today, it looks big and red and nasty compared to his other foot, clearly it’s swollen from having a cast on the rest of the leg but it looks really nasty. I have a picture but wasn’t sure if it’s too gross to share openly- but I’d love to have a vet’s eye on it if there’s any on here?
He’s on painkillers every evening and since Wednesday he’s back on happy pills too and with Feliway spray/plug in, as last week he was really mentally down. He’s calm and sleeping well, using his litter tray and eating really well (has been crated almost 24/7 since the op just coming out occasionally for sofa cuddles)
