It's Friday night when at the end of the week couples sit down to watch a film on TV. Not in our house. I'm on Mumsnet and my partner is indulging Haribo and looking through YouTube for David Attenborough bringing birds into our living room or baby tigers in a zoo. He's using his scratching post whilst side eyeing the cubs.

He's a chunk, 6kg, with a small dainty head. When sitting he looks like a skittle and other times he's sitting you can see a cleavage. Despite his size he is really timid of people and hates noises.

On Wednesday I was having a small flat roof replaced and he was so scared he wedged himself in a small gap between a storage box and the radiator.

He spotted a strange man in the house on Monday (gas hob fitter) and for ages after he left he was scuttling around. Previously I've had to carry him from room to room just so he can see there's no bogeyman hiding in the house. He's going to move out to his "nanny" across the road on the 14th when I've got electricians doing work 😂

He's gorgeous 😍

He reminds me of a friend's DCat, who hated the floor and would navigate round the flat using furniture and being carried to get where he wanted to go.

She also said he wouldn't be allowed on the bed. I don't think that lasted one night, before her DP discovered he was wearing a cat on his head.
