Can anyone help these cats in Aberdeen?

My friend is in the process of getting an elderly relative into a home.
She has 3 cats that are 13 years old. No charity will take them and it looks like they may end up be PTS.

Any suggestions?

I'm local so have shared this post with a few cat people. I wish I could take them but our boy would move out (and my DP might go with him tbh).

I know Cats Protection usually have a waiting list of cats coming in, but I've just checked and they actually don't look like they have any cats for adoption on their website right now so maybe worth trying them again if it was a while ago?

Thanks. I can’t bear the thought of completely innocent cats, with no existing health problems being PTS simply because no one will take them. They’ve got one person who knows the owner and used to run a cattery to take them but only for a few weeks.

Thank you. I’ve passed that link on.

Willows might be a good shout, they have a huge “cat hotel” and really do take in the animals that are in the last chance saloon. Quite a different vibe to being in a family home though.

Just to update, they have found someone to take them on today.

Oh I am so pleased to hear this. My DP wasn’t even close to being worn down by me campaigning to take them here!

Oh if you’d see the pictures then you would have just had to smuggle them in, honestly. I think they are both moggies but they seem to be part Maine coon or Norwegian Forest. They have the big ears and long noses.
My friend was even willing to pay their up keep and vets bills for life.
