Cat vomiting water

He’s nearly 19. Vomits water every couple of days. What could this be.

Just a bump for you OP, hope the cat will be ok.

Elton does this as well. I assume it's connected to his CKD which means that he drinks a lot and sometimes regurgitates some of it. He seems fine after the event and eats normally so I'm trying not to worry. Has your boy been checked for kidney problems?

Not checked for that but I’ll call vet tomorrow and arrange a blood test. He drinks a decent amount of water too so this may be something. Thank you so much for posting.

It's a pleasure - hope you get an answer. It might also be worth taking a picture of the throw -up to show the vet just in case there is another cause. If you do get any more feedback from the vet on possible causes please share!
