Food suggestions

I have an elderly cat* with kidney disease and has started being a picky eater.
With kidney disease he should be on a special diet but doesn't eat it. He's recently turned off eating the other food too. Tonight he devoured a tin of tuna but he can't live on that.
Any suggestions for wet food?

*No idea of actual age, he wandered in about 6 months ago very unweight and injured. We haven't been able to find his original home so he lives here now!

Have you tried royal canin urinary cat food? My fussy cat has been ok on that for a few weeks. The one in jelly, not the gravy one for mine.

Any advice on managing a cat with renal disease. The vet says there's no treatment but wants to get a scan for 300 quid!

i wouldn’t feed tuna but maybe look at some of the higher content foods like untamed (swear the tuna ones look nicer than human canned tuna!) you can get a trial for about £8 see if they like it. I’ve got a foster boy who has a very delicate stomach but has now decided he doesn’t like his gastro food and found untamed and applaws shredded chicken to be good as higher meat content
