Haws Syndrome - any experience?

One of my cats has this and seems to be recovering. But another one seems to be coming down with it - 3rd eyelid showing, upset stomach.
Yet it's not supposed to be contagious?
Have your cats had this? Vet indicated that it's fairly common and doesn't require treatment.

It’s thought to be due to gut inflammation, one of the possible causes being a viral infection, so could spread to the other cat.
It generally is self limiting (ie no need for treatment) unless the upset stomach is severe or they go off food.

Thanks for replying. They're both eating and drinking normally but my oriental cat is even clingier than usual so I think she's feeling a bit under the weather. I've popped a heated pad in a sunny spot for her to curl up on which she seems to be liking.

Yes! My cat currnetly has this. He also has diorrhea for 2 weeks which we're trying to get to the bottom of (pardon the pun.) Doesn't seem diet related as he's now on prescription food (hills digestive) and that hasn't done anything to make a difference. We're currently awaiting stool sample results with our vets.

My vet says that the Haws syndrome is linked to gastro issues and should resolve once that is sorted.
