I'm heartbroken to share that I have to say goodbye to my beloved cat, Aubrey, who has been my constant companion for 14 wonderful years. Known in our neighborhood as the friendly legend who'd always say hello with a little head bump. He's forever on my lap or sleeping by my side.
Since Christmas, his health has declined, and he's become so weak. Making the decision to let him go has been incredibly difficult, but I find some comfort knowing he'll meet his brothers over the rainbow bridge. As someone without children, my cats mean the world to me, and the void Aubrey leaves is going to be huge. I've got two other cats, girls called Smoky and Bo. I know they'll give me comfort when I feel lonely.
