This little lad joined the household this week - I am already a little bit in love!

He’s just turned 1 and is a complete cuddle monster. He doesn’t really meow, he makes cute little chirrups and trills, which sound really funny coming from such a big cat. He has no idea of his size or strength, his head-bops are definitely not delicate 😂

He is also a complete time waster - I’m not getting on with doing things, I’m too busy having cuddles and gazing adoringly at him.

Ha, his ears are truly magnificent! His name is Storm, though I’ve been calling him Chatty McChatFace as well 😂

@Favouritefruits - he’s definitely landed on his feet in this house. I’m feeling very lucky though and honestly think I’m the one who’s landed on my feet. Last year was horrible - lost my mum after a very short illness and then had to PTS my amazing cat the week before Christmas. I really feel like he’s materialised to help heal my heart, his magic is working already 💕

@Normansglasseye yes, he’s a Maine Coon. Have always loved the look of them - I don’t do small and delicate with my pets! And I really liked everything I’ve read about their characters. Feeling very lucky that this opportunity arose and, just a few days in, he seems very true to type. I cannot get over how cuddly, chatty, confident and friendly he is. I want 50 of them now 😂

@70isaLimitNotaTarget ha, I definitely think my hoover will be working overtime. I hadn’t clocked the appropriate clothing, good spot! Maybe I should look to order something like the snow camp outfits that the army use 😂

It's my dream to have a couple of Maine Coons, they are fantastic beasts, I adore them. I'm so envious.

New Addition Number Two arrived yesterday. She was good as gold last night in my room, and we’ve had lots of fun playing and cuddling today. She’s 4 months and totally adorable. Currently obsessed with chasing her tail 😂

Cat family is now complete. Again, don’t think I’ll be achieving much this weekend! After a shit 12 months, it feels really nice to have moments of a total lift in my heart 😻

I am amusing myself by clicking between pictures 1-2 then 2-1 as only her eyes have moved She's a very serious looking little girl .

TBF, neither of them stand a chance at being Top Cat. I’ve got my mum’s 15 year-old and that title definitely goes to her. Don’t be fooled by the delicate appearance and butter-wouldn’t-melt face. She is definitely the boss in this house!

Ooh you have a black smoke kitten! They look stunning when their manes grow. But beware. I've never had such utterly naughty cats before we got our MC. And they are incredibly active. If they get bored you are in so much trouble!
