Should I take this cat?

There is a cat is in my local area. I know there is a lady who feeds it but the cat is mostly out and about, even over night, so I don't think she has an official owner. I have noticed she is getting in increasingly bad condition, her fur has large patches missing, she has some redness on her fur too, she has a large swollen stomach. Should I take the cat to the vet? I don't know where the lady lives who feeds her. I think she is mostly a street cat who just goes to the lady to be fed

Yes - please take the cat to the vet, vet can check for a chip to identify if it has an owner.
If not - you'll need to pick up any vet bill for treatment...

I would take her if you're prepared to take ownership if she isn't chipped/wanted. Poor girl.

Definitely get her to a vet , she could well be pregnant , or full of worms poor thing .

Thank you. I’m wondering if she has previously had a proper home, she is very friendly tbh but just looks in very bad condition now and she is always out, I think the lady who feeds her is elderly and she doesn’t actually live in the house with the lady

I saw her a couple of days ago and her condition actually looks worse, so her belly hangs down and looks so swollen, she also has very dull eyes and the fur is getting worse, it looks itchy and sore. She did run away from me that time but she accepted strikes before . I’ll see if I can get her and will take her to the vets
