Does anyone have a cat wall?

DCat is 4 months old and indoor only. I'm planning to build him a cat wall in our living room. Any recommendations or things to avoid?

I am looking into the same thing for my 6 month old kitten. Am thinking I might buy it piece by piece just in case he completely ignores it, in usual cat style he will probably prefer the box it arrived in.

Wow, that site is amazing! I could spend a lot of money there, but as you say it would be a complete waste if DCat hates/ignores it.

I think you could do it much cheaper on your own.with well placed shelving around the room. Hot glue some Hessian onto the shelf. Wrap thick plumbing tubing with rope etc and use guttering style brackets to hold them up.

Have you seen if you want real envy

We bought little shelves from B&Q and a bigger one for over a door, then hot glued carpet tiles on them for traction. The hardest part was drilling holes into the brick wall!

I did have to add a square of carpet to the top of the climbing post, they couldn't easily use it without a bit more grip there. But otherwise I was happy with it.

No my cats prefer the curtains.
