Timed cat feeder

Any advice for simple timed dry food dispenser please?

I have one of these, Catmate 300, has one open section and two others. I feed for 24 hours, setting it to evening and morning. Any longer than that and I’d get someone in.

I feed 8,9 sometimes 10 semi ferals with one. What advice do you want?

I use a catmate 20 (two bowl) very basic. I set my cat's breakfast in it to open at 6am before I go to bed every night and now he no longer wakes me for food stupidly early!
Also use it any time I might be out and miss a mealtime (he is not self regulating so I can't just leave food down). He has a clockwork stomach and gets anxious if meals don't appear on time :)

Thanks for very useful info. Just want to provide breakfast for v early rising cat. The suggestions seem fine.
