Best cat litter that doesn’t spread around the house!

Hello! We have 2 indoor cats so cat litter gets used a lot! I really love Cats Best Original Cet Litter as it’s totally natural and can be flushed down the toilet BUT my cats seem to spread it everywhere! I hoover at least twice a day. I’ve tried mats in front of litter trays but doesn’t help much but maybe someone knows a really good mat? I’ve just tried quite cheap ones off Amazon but maybe there’s a really good one out there? Or some other ingenious idea? We use 4 litter trays as they can be fussy if there’s any wee in one so that’s a lot of trays but the debris is now annoying me a bit but maybe that’s just normal??

As an aside , most water companies ask you not to put cat litter down the toilet , even if it’s says you can , due in part to the risk of toxoplasmosis entering the human water supply .

I think a lot of the mess issue depends on the cat , we use a larger particle clumping litter and barely have any outside the tray , my daughter’s cat has a finer one and spreads everywhere. We also have a mat at the entrance to the enclosed cat litter box with a honeycomb texture that traps any odd bits as he walks out .Like this one

I have large cat litter trays with raised sides, which are placed enclosed inside a cabinet. I don’t get any litter tracking.

What about trying a litter tray inside a larger tray?

The cat steps out of litter box in to secondary litter box and deposits most litter stuck on their paws in there when they step out of the main litter tray in to the secondary tray area.

We have two indoor cats and two large litter trays. We use World’s Best Cat Litter. It’s expensive but really good.

For some reason I can’t edit my first post, but here’s the litter and the mats we use. Have found both to be brilliant.

I also use Cat's Best, but I don't flush it down the toilet. I am not sure it's allowed, even for stuff that is technically flush-able.

My cat is elderly and I have removed the covers and simply put towels underneath the litter boxes. The towels are large enough that they catch most of the litter that sticks to my cat's paws. The rest I vacuum, or sweep up every morning when I am scooping the boxes. I have one of those sweepers that you can use standing up.

Felight wheat pellets, not cheap

Thanks so much, I will look and buy both litters you mention,
Must admit I assumed as they were indoors all the time there was no risk of toxoplasmosis?? I shall google to check though.
They both like their big litter trays and I just know if I put a small one inside a larger one they’d either wee in the big one (one loves anything empty like a box or laundry basket to wee in!) or do a big leap out rather than step in the bigger box!
A towel is a good idea too. I have the honeycomb mat but it doesn’t really do much. I think it’s more I have the wrong litter!
Thanks so much,
