I was going to ask here why my own 10 year-old girl has got a case of 'watch me-itis' - in her case, she calls us to watch her scratching her territory post in the fence. Is it because she wants us to mark territory too? Or to find our own marker? Does she just want to treat us to the sight of her wiggly bum while she does it? Or is she feeling vulnerable so wants back up? She's definitely calling us to see, there's a real performance quality to it...

Who will ever figure out their ineffable little minds? 🤷‍♀️

When she arrived DH was ' no cats upstairs
Then ,at 15 weeks.
' No cats in the bedroom.
Then at 18 weeks.
' Where's the cat'

@Pudmyboy I certainly do go back to bed. After she's slinked through cat flap whilst trying not to make a sound which is difficult as it's a microchip one so it snaps shut.
