I just want to share this with the world! My cat was staying with a friend while we moved house in December 2023. He went out of an open upstairs window just before the really bad storms hit. For over a year I have been searching for him, with no signs or sightings.
On Christmas Eve this year, a friend sent me a picture of a stray cat that someone had posted on Facebook, saying that the cat had been in their garden eating birdseed and they had started feeding it. It was him! I went on Christmas Eve and he instantly recognised me, but he was too scared to come close enough to catch. The lovely couple then spent 2 hours on Christmas morning enticing him into their house and we caught him! After over a year, my special boy came home on Christmas Day. Literally the best Christmas ever!
