Carriers

I'm picking up two kittens in the new year. Can I just use one carrier for them both? They are 5 months old so not tiny, tiny things.

Also, soft carrier or hard?

One should be ok at 5 months & they’d probably feel safer together.

Definitely hard, the soft ones are easier to escape from. I’d go for one with top and side openings.

I'd get two. Trying to get two cats in one box without the other escaping would be a bit tricky.

I've got a curver carrier that looks like a picnic basket. It's brilliant

My cats are 5.5 months and would not be happy in separate carriers as they need the comfort of each other.
I have one with 2 openings so you can put cat 2 in the door cat 1 is not trying to get out of.

You’ll need a second carrier when they are bigger though.
