Cat food recommendations?

We have two kittens, one 8 months one 2-3 months. New to owning cats so overwhelmed with the number of food options for them.

Can anyone recommend a good brand of food? Is it better to feed 100% wet food, and does buying ‘fresh’ mean it’s healthier?

We have tried katkin and Marro so far - katkin has awkward messy pouches, Marro seems better overall but they’re both on the pricey side because they’re fresh - so wondering if that’s necessary.

thanks in advance 😊

She’s beautiful! 😻

I really rate Untamed and Lilys kitchen, my kittens have thrived since using these brands I give them have a ton of untamed Morning and lunch and then half a test of lily’s kitchen. Both have no added sugar / salt/crap and are just about affordable.

We are on Feringa from Zooplus, which is high meat content and grain free, but not too expensive.

Tried Lily’s kitchen but the cats don’t really like it, which is a shame as I think it looks really good quality.

Personally I don’t want to be locked into a subscription for the fancy brands, and I’m unconvinced that fresh is essential.

I give mine a mixture of dry and wet. At the moment they are still kittens and can’t manage much at once so they get half a pouch each 3 x a day and dry food left out in between. They are pretty good at self regulating.

Your kitten is absolutely gorgeous.
