I'm adopting him from a rescue and they aren't sure on the breed. What do we think?

Think might have some Maine coon in him.
Got the furry ears.. does he have a long furry tail too?

Womblewife · 04/12/2024 19:29

Grazyna80 · 04/12/2024 19:29

Burmese? Long haired obvs

mirrormirror5 · 04/12/2024 19:30

I was thinking Burmese but they have to have white socks on their paws 🐾 apparently?

He could be a mix though?

I'm leaning ragdoll at the moment

Turkish Van Cat and he's waiting for you to fill the sink with water - or the bath tub if he;s lucky Grin

TimeForATerf · 04/12/2024 19:32

I would have said rag doll too

Birman?
Description from Spruce Pets website: "The Birman is a medium to large sized cat with an elongated body and a stocky, muscular build. Females are smaller than males. The head is broad and rounded, with a heavy jaw, a firm chin, full cheeks, a somewhat rounded muzzle, and a medium-length Roman nose. All Birman kittens are born white; the color points on the face, ears, legs, and tail develop later as they mature."

I think I'm in love. He's beautiful.

blackpoppy · 04/12/2024 21:24

I wonder if he's a Siamese?

coffeesaveslives · 05/12/2024 07:05

Most cats are mixed breeds of some kind, so likely a moggy with a bit of pedigree in there too.

LastNightMyPJsSavedMyLife · 05/12/2024 07:08

Birman. Not a Siamese whoever suggested it.

LastNightMyPJsSavedMyLife · 05/12/2024 07:08

And he's gorgeous.

OhBeAFineGuyKissMe · 05/12/2024 07:10

A very gorgeous moggy. Or Domestic Long Haired cat, if you want a fancier title.

RosesTulipssunflowers · 05/12/2024 07:15

He's very much like the rag doll cat my Dad owned (or rather was owned by!) years back, especially with the blue eyes. He's beautiful

Toddlerteaplease · 05/12/2024 08:24

Ragdoll or Birman.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 05/12/2024 08:36

Ragdoll cross - mine is ragdoll criss with ragdoll x Russian blue.
Gorgeous cats but incredibly stupid

What breed is my cat?
mirrormirror5 · 05/12/2024 10:33

I'm hoping for a ragdoll x Birman cross after reading these comments!

Either way I'm going to love him, even if he is a marvellous moggy

Oreosareawful · 05/12/2024 10:35

I have four ragdolls, and there is definitely some in him! The blue eyes are a big giveaway.

Greeniscalming · 05/12/2024 10:38

He is spectacular! I think Birman.

DecayingRelic · 05/12/2024 10:40

colourpoint Ragdoll
