Does this need checking?

MrCat has a cyst on his face. In April the vet said to leave it alone unless it bothered him. MrCat’s an old man and should not be subjected to general anaesthetic unless really necessary.

Recently a single dark dot has appeared on the centre of the cyst, and today several red marks. Dcat really does not seem bothered. I can touch it and scratch his face. They don’t feel like scabs. He’s eating pretty much normally (ie gobbling some foods and turning up his nose at others).

Does it need checking? Is it about to burst and sporn all over us?

White cats are at risk, what did the vet think it was, did they take a biopsy

Vet gave it a poke around and said it was a cyst. No other investigations.

I would go back for another check up, April was 8 months ago and it has changed in appearance. Has it got any bigger or was it that size in April?

I would call the vet and describe this to them and ask if they think he should be seen.
