Cat Christmas Presents

do you do Christmas presents for your cat? And if so what are you getting them this year? 🐈‍⬛
I have a stocking for my cat (complete with paw print!) which I fill with some small toys - such as some new balls (I’m going to get her the Trixie foam balls this year but we will have to monitor closely as she has an obsession with chewing foam!) and some treats (felix crunchies have overtaken dreamies in this house 🙀!). I was also going to get her a clicker training set to see if we can advance from ‘sit’ to ‘paw’! Thought a thread on this might be a nice way to swap toy/ gift ideas!

My indoors cat is a ex stray so didn't really play on his own until recently. His favourite is a large hair band and I might get him a few balls to bat about. He doesn't really like anything new unless it smells of one of us.

But him and the semi ferals who live in the garden will definitely be getting treats and of course, any boxes to jump on and sleep in. They all love the boxes.

Last year we had 4 kittens dumped on the terrace by their mum. So I made them a climbing frame to play on as they had 7.5 months of rain to get through. That was fun! Kept me amused during the longest winter ever.

aww your climbing frame sounds brilliant! What a great idea and kept you all busy!
Cats love boxes! The boxes and the wrapping paper from other peoples gifts are presents for them! This is Bella last year with the wrappings! She also decided that a box similar size/ shape to a pizza box that a photo album came in was the most perfect bed so we absolutely couldn’t throw that out!

My boys got their pressies bought before any humans had theirs bought 😁

I got Eko a Gus and Bella box as he adored that last year and it was great value - the toys are still loved a year later!
And every Christmas I get Boone a Freak Meowt catnip filled felt Christmas pudding. Freak Meowts catnip is his favourite so it’s a special for birthday and Christmas ☺️

I might buy Penelope a new fountain. The last one broke.

Wee salmon loins & some new valerian toys are what’s happening here…

Her Majesty Milly has got a large catnip crinkle fish, a dreamies selection box, assortment of toys from the pound shop, a new fishing rod toy (destroys them!) & a cardboard scratcher. She's got her own christmas stocking for it all to go in. As usual she'll get a plate of turkey leftovers.
