Hi all.
In the summer my cat was diagnosed hyperthyroid when I took him for a dental.
He's always been a real character, always hungry, so he had showed no symptoms to us.
He's now on thyronorm 2.5mg at both morning and evening. They also suspect he is blind (we don't know if he's always been bling or this is recent, he's always been exceedingly clumsy for a cat).
Anyway, he's become SO noisy at night, he meows constantly, and I mean constantly, and walks back and forth over our heads and faces. If we try to shut him out he just scratches the door.
He's also started walking in circles at nighttime, round and round, generally on us in bed. I mentioned to vet but he said he could just give him some gabbapentin for nights but I'm a bit unsure about that. Any ideas?
