Do shelters accept open boxes with sealed pouches

Breadcat has changed her mind about what she likes again! I am getting swamped in open boxes with rejected flavours. Would a shelter accept boxes that have been opened, but with only some pouches (fully sealed) in the box?

Yes! So do food banks.

Absolutely , we always leave our spare pouches in the cats protection box at our vets , our cats are very picky over flavours .

Our shelter accepts no wet food at all for dogs. Not sure re cats.

I've dropped similar into the collection box at my local tesco as they collect for the SSPCA. Pets at home may collect too

I work at a rescue and we accept open boxes with sealed pouches .

I don't know if all Morrisons do this but our local one has a box for CP and another for Dogs Trust donations. I used to put all the flavours Madam refused to eat in the CP box (then I found out I had hungry hedgehogs)

Can I ask why?
