Young cat/kitten advice needed

I've messed up. We have just got a new cat from a rescue to be a companion to our older cat. The new cat is about 6 months old and we have to vaccinate her and get her spayed. I've booked vax for this week and 28th November. Spay still to be booked as I want the vet to confirm her age.

I have just realised that we are going away the last weekend in November/beginning December for one night, leaving lunchtime Saturday and getting back evening Sunday.

Usually when we go away we get a friend in twice a day to do meals but this isn't going to be enough contact for a young cat is it? Or is it? She's currently in a separate room so we can do gradual introductions.

Do I need to get someone to come in more often and to sit with her? There's a local cat sitting service I could use.

I'm so cross with myself for forgetting we had this weekend away booked!

I think twice a day should be fine if it's just for a short time. Cats are pretty self reliant. Perhaps get some favourite food/treats for the cat sitter to give.
