Un-knockoverable water bowls

Has anyone found a water bowl that can't be knocked over? Our young cat likes to knock his bowl over then lick the water from the floor which isn't really practical (especially at night when he comes and wakes me up for a refill). He can drink from a bowl so I don't think there's an underlying issue, he just enjoys doing it.

Not for a cat, granted, but no reason why a cat couldn't use it. I have this one for my dog, who likes to knock his water bowl around and it's great:

I use baby weaning bowls with suction pads on the bottom.

i could never get my cat to drink from a bowl so invested in a cat water fountain. She drinks from is regularly. Great investment

Another vote for cat water fountain here. There's a few on Amazon and they're great cos they don't get knocked over. Took our cat a day or two to get used to it but he wouldn't drink from anything else now he's used to it.

Cat water fountain here too. Easy to look after, I just top up as needed & take it apart for cleaning once a week. Your cat could probably flick the water with his paw if he wanted but it’s impossible to knock over.

We have this one too and it’s great, comes in loads of different colours too.

Water fountain here as well. They are fantastic.

If he is knocking it over it is likely because he wants the water to move. A lot of cats do this to judge the level and because they like moving water.
I would suggest a cat water fountain. Totally unknockoverable.
I have a catit pixi one. Encourages cats to drink more too which is useful as so many cats get kidney issues as they get older.
