I’ve just had to rush the ginger one down to the vets. He was pawing at his mouth and bleeding.

They’ve found a mass in his mouth and are doing a biopsy this afternoon. It’s not looking good.

His dad is on the way back from the US and doesn’t land until later.

Can I have a handhold please? He’s the loveliest of cats.

Well I have amazing news…

Histology has come back clear - it’s not a tumour!!

Vet is astounded - they’ve never seen anything like it before. They’re treating it with antibiotics as a chronic inflammation.

I’m so happy - although the ginger one has definitely lost one of his nine lives 😀

Brilliant news! I was wondering about him as my ginger boy snores next to me.

Well that's THE best news ever. I have to say, from the photo you posted, even when he was off his face on pain meds, he looked the picture of health. I'm delighted for you and your boy.

When he gets his faculties in place he will get his own back for you publishing his very cute OffHisTits photo.

good news that it isn’t a tumour. It might be trauma from something sharp tht caused an infection and hyper granulation tissue.

he’s lost one of his 9 lives , you have probably gained a hundred grey hairs. 😯

I can report the ginger one has shrugged off his near miss with the grim reaper and is very happy with all the fuss he has had.

70 he is very proud now of his blue bandage of bravery!
