My male cat was neutered a few weeks ago, and ever since, he has been excessively grooming himself. Is this a thing and is there anything I can do about it? In spite of the grooming he’s been getting lots of knots and clumps in his coat (he’s long haired).
Any advice? I don’t want to shave lumps out of his coat but the knots are so tight and they appear out of nowhere despite my brushing him every day or so.
