I paid the excess for Penelope's first ulcer in June. The policy renewed in September, do I need to pay the excess again if I make another ongoing claim, or will I not have to pay again until June?

I’d expect it to be that the excess resets every policy year so it would be liable on the first claim made after it renews.

I’m with a different insurer but I’d expect to pay the excess again in a new policy year.

Excess due per policy year. Also with Tesco.

I'm with tesco for DDog. She had an ongoing issue with treatments which went across the policy renewal date. On renewal I had to pay the excess again. I did call them and query it, but they said it was standard practice.
