Boy or Girl ?

I've had several female cats over the last 25 years , last one pts almost a year ago

I'm ready to start looking to rescue my next and have seen a lovely boy with a sad background 🐈

Many years ago a male cat came into our home chasing after my girls and sprayed on a wall - that's the only thing that has put me off boys 🐈

Could anyone advise of any advantages / disadvantages/ things to remember if choosing a boy over a girl ? 🐈

Once neutered no difference!

Good old google suggests some still do spray after neutering , would you say that's not likely?

We have only ever had boys, except for a sister who was litter mates. Her personality is unbelievably different, but uncertain as to whether that's because she is female (but neutered, obviously) or just a different cat. Find a cat of either sex who you love and who will willingly let you serve their requirements!

I'm going to ask if I can visit this beautiful boy and see if I'm good enough for him 😂

I've had males and females and I much prefer toms. They're a bit bolder and friendlier. Never had any issue with spraying. (Oddly I prefer female dogs 🤷‍♀️)

Females can spray too!

Turns out the lovely boy is reserved pending a visit at the weekend so I'm back looking again
I'm concentrating on faces not names 😂
