If you have a deaf cat that won't SHUT THE HELL UP this thread is for you.

Any coping strategies? I have none to add myself but absolutely tearing my hair out! It's always at 4am, always yowling like she's been murdered.

my sympathies... dcat is nearly 20 and is like this on occasion so he sleeps downstairs on a sheepskin rug. If I let him upstairs its

“WAAAAHHHHH” in my ear at daft o'clock followed by noisy washing!

We've never shut her downstairs but I'm thinking we may have to start- she obviously doesn't go outdoors as she's deaf so I feel bad that she doesn't have run of the house.

Sympathy to you all. But on the plus side, my 20.5 year old Lola is much less stressed since she became deaf and now oblivious of all the supposed threats that made her very unhappy and dreadful to live with. The yowls are a small price to pay, really...
