This may be a really silly question but my boy has been behaving slightly ‘off’ the last couple of days (nothing major) but come down this morning to find he hasn’t eaten anything. He also hasn’t gone out today - which is very unlike him.
I was half expecting him to be sick but he’s just chilling on my daughter’s bed. It occurred to me that our neighbours moved three weeks ago and taken their two cats with them, who he was ‘friends’ with.
The new neighbours have an older farm cat, who will be outdoors soon. He would’ve seen this by now, as they would check for each other at the back doors. I’m just wondering if he’s just a bit down about their absence. Is this even a thing, considering they weren’t ours?
Another cat he plays with has also gone missing recently. So I’m left wondering if he’s just a bit confused/lonely. Obviously will keep an eye to see if it is something physical (could well be a dodgy mouse knowing him) but it just got me thinking. I’m probably just applying human feelings to a cat!
