Litter tray enclosures

For background, I have two beautiful inside girls aged 3 and 11 months. They are both very small cats, around 2kg each. They currently use covered litter trays with a flap. It took a while to get the older cat used to this (she came to us aged 2) but the kitten has used them from day 1.

Now that the days are getting colder we want to keep the living room door shut to keep the heat in so the litter trays need to be in the living room for easy access but it doesn’t look pretty. I’m thinking of getting litter box enclosures but everything I’ve seem shows an uncovered tray inside. Does anyone use an enclosure with a covered litter box inside? They are both so good. Despite my oldest having a very traumatic time before coming to us, neither of them has ever gone outside their box so I don’t want to change too much too quickly.

I’m thinking something like this

I'm guessing the cats will only go in there when you're in there so they'll ask to be let out to use the tray!
