Inhaled flea treatment

My dh treated the cat with a spot on this evening (selamectin) and not 5 minutes later I completely forgot, gave the cat a cuddle and inhaled some. Now scared I'm going to die in my sleep. I have of course cleaned my hands and face repeatedly, including up my nose, brushed my teeth etc. Anyone as stupid as me and lived to tell the tale?

Are you a flea?

If yes, you should be worried.

If no, you'll be fine.

I've had my entire house treated today for fleas by the council. We've all been breathing it in. You'll be fine.

It’s applied to your cat (who lives in your house) and doesn’t harm them. I highly doubt it’s airborn toxic to humans or cats.

I can’t imagine it’s advised to inhale it, but I doubt it’ll actually do you any harm. Your cat has much smaller lungs than you and will be breathing it in.

Also yes flea sprayed my house recently (urgh fleas) so I assume we breathed in a fair amount and lived to tell the tale

Thank you for both replies, but especially this one - did make me lol. I know I'm being ridiculous, I didn't even get any on my skin, but I have big health anxiety over this sort of stuff.
