Our 5 month old kitten has recently started going outside and we've been encouraging her to do her business outside by placing the litter tray outside. This method has worked with previous cats but not this one. She prefers to poo on the lawn instead! She makes a cursory attempt to cover it by scratching around the area then walks off! Yesterday, I saw her sitting in the tray and thought great but then she moved off and pooed on the lawn instead. Whenever I catch her I shout "no" but it's having no effect.
Does anyone have any advice?
