There's a mouse in my dining room!

Oh for crying out loud. DCat1 just brought it in the back door and into the kitchen. I tried to shoo him and it out again, but he dropped it and and wee mouse dashed off into the dining room. There's three cats in there after it, and none of them can catch it - and neither can I. I got hold of the poor thing to try and save it, and it jumped straight out of my hands again. There's too many hiding places.

Aarghh...

Alert over - it ran back into the kitchen again, DH cornered it and managed to gather it up in the folds of a towel somehow, I opened the door and he took it outside.. Poor little furry thing - he was lively as anything though, so now he's been taken down the field, fingers crossed he'll be ok.

@landris so glad it was a happy ending x

@shellyleppard Me too - I'm just relieved it didn't run under the washing machine - from there it would have been able to get behind the kitchen cupboards and we'd never have been able to rescue it. Blimey it couldn't half run fast! I think it must have been a vole as its tail was quite short.
